The Great British Bake Off Part 1
As part of our DT learning this half term, children have been researching different types of bread before making their own.
A huge thank you to one of parents who is a Chef and sent in a selection of homemade bread for us to try,
Year 3 are digging the Stone Age
Year 3 have been building dens to protect their Lego (stone Age) man from the elements.
Year 3 have also been using Scratch to create their own Stone Age game.
All in all we dig the Stone Age!

Reception- Baking gingerbread men
This week we had a special delivery. Upon investigation, we found a basket full of cooking equipment and ingredients and a recipe card to make Gingerbread men. We carefully read the instructions and measured out all the ingredients to make our tasty biscuits.

In Year 1 we designed and made a new chair for baby bear as Goldilocks had broken his!
These are the finished chairs for baby bear. We tested out how strong they were.

Y4 - Designing and Making a Labyrinth
Children in Year 4 read the story of Theseus and the Minotaur before design their own maze. The children practised their measurements and cutting skills, as well developing their teamwork skills.
Science STEAM Workshops - The Boat Museum - Ellesmere Port
Well done to Year 5 and Year 6 for attending a very successful and interesting collection of workshops held at the Boat Museum last week. There were many workshops ranging from computers, geography, science, design and technology and many more! Have a look at some of our pictures below!

Pyramids!
The children in Year 6 were challenged to build a pyramid to hold treasure. They had to plan, make and evaluate their structure.
The winning pyramid held 1.5kg! Well Done to The Egyptian MEEM Amegies.
