Geography field trip

Last term we visited the brook of Brookside!

The brook has been here since before the oldest Ordnance survey maps existed.

It is now partially covered by housing estates as it flows to the Mersey.

In ICT we have been using Word to create fact files about seals.

Music

Today year 3 created their own lyrics for a song based on the idea of flight.

We brainstormed as many rhyming sounds as we could for key words and then linked them together to create our verse.

Yesterday after school, KS2 held their Autumn disco. There were lots of fantastic dance moves on show!

RE: Hinduism

Year 3  made the most of the sunshine today to act out the origin story of Diwali.

It tells of how Rama and Sita defeat evil with the aid of the Monkey king and find their way home with the aid of the lights to guide them.
