Y6 learnt about the work of ‘Zoltan Kodaly’ and developed an understanding of the Kodaly music method.

Y6 designed their waistcoats - we decided to go for a Christmas theme.

We chose our preferred fabric and used templates to prepare our waistcoats.

Using safety pins we joined the different fabric together, creating seams.

Finally, using the running stitch, we sewed the waistcoats together…

The Year 6 class had a great time discovering all about how the Battle of Atlantic was co-ordinated at Derby House during World War 2.

Today in Year 6 we discussed the similarities and differences of bullying and cyberbullying.

We looked at ways in which people could deal with cyberbullying. We also considered the impact of cyberbullying on the victim and how it can be just as harmful as 'in-person'…
