Year 6

This week, Y6 have discussed what personal information we should or should not share online.

For example, is it okay to share our favourite hobby with people online? What about our home address or which school we go to?

Chatting online can be fun but we must ensure we keep ourselves…

PC Johnson generously gave Y6 her time this afternoon to talk about KIND WORDS.

We covered lots of topics including 'hate crime' and 'protected characteristics'.

We even took our fingerprints!

• read about the major biomes around the world and considered how human actions are affecting them
• considered how to make 4 and 6 figure grid references and gained some valuable map reading skills

KNOWLEDGE: We have associated the brightness of a lamp or the volume of a buzzer with the number and voltage of cells used in the circuit. 

SKILLS: We used recognised symbols to draw a simple circuit in a diagram.

Four fine young ambassadors from Y6 represented our school impeccably at a competitive maths quiz this week. They finished a very respectable 4th against tough competition and we are very proud of them!
