Year 4 have been exploring electrical circuits. All the children were given different components (wires, cells, bulbs and buzzers) and were asked to create as many different working circuits as possible.

Lantern Parade 2024
Children in Year 4 took part in the Ellesmere Port Lantern Parade and Christmas Tree Light Switch On tonight.
Thank you to all the parents/carers who braved the rain, wind and cold to support this event.

Odd Sock Day 2024
Children in Year 4 are rocking their odd socks today. Odd Sock Day is the start of Anti-Bullying Week.
It’s an opportunity to encourage people to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique!

Making Biscuits - Yummy!
Children in Year 4 have been learning how to follow a recipe. They have learnt the skills of measuring, creaming and rubbing in.

Here Come the Romans - Musical Motifs
After listening to Beethoven’s fifth symphony and the James Bond theme tune, children in Year 4 explored musical motifs. The children then used tuned instruments to play a musical motif of 6 notes.

Online Safety: CyberBullying
As part of our Online Safety learning, children in Year 4 have been thinking about how online messages can be hurtful. The children have been exploring how they should respond to a hurtful message.

Library Visit
The children had a fantastic time visiting Ellesmere Port Library - some children joined the library and others borrowed and returned books.

KS2 Disco
Yesterday after school, KS2 held their Autumn disco. There were lots of fantastic dance moves on show!
