On Wednesday, Year 5 children had a visit from the NSPCC where we talked bout the importance of being safe and knowing who we can call and speak to if we need to share any concerns or worries we have.

Behaviour focus - each week, all classes consider what their rights and responsibilities are.  In Y2, we have discussed as a whole class our Class Behaviour Agreement and how rules can help them learn, stay safe and respect others.

Year 2 have been exploring  the concept of secrets and surprises.

Knowledge: to discuss the difference between a secret and a surprise

Skills: to identify different feelings when I know a secret and have a surprise

Last week was Anti-Bullying Week and the theme was 'Choose Respect'

The Nursery children talked about respecting each other, staff, possessions, and themselves.

They created a class collage using different skin tone colours, which we have displayed in our classroom.

Children in Year 4 are rocking their odd socks today.  Odd Sock Day is the start of Anti-Bullying Week. 

It’s an opportunity to encourage people to express themselves and celebrate their individuality and what makes us all unique!

Children in Year 4 spent time today thinking about 'Why we Remember?'

Yesterday, the children in Year 4 had a visit from The Mayor, Cllr Paul Donavan. 

As part of our Online Safety Curriculum, children have been revising and learning about what information they should and shouldn't share online.
