Year 3 Computing

Year 3 have been learning how coding is used to create computer games.

We have been learning about conditional statements, eg: 

If my caveman touches the axe it will disappear.

Year 5 Coding

In our computing session this afternoon, Year 5 delved into the world of coding.

We reacquainted ourselves with coding simple commands to our sprites. We also looked ar debugging our work to fix any errors in the code.

Year 5 Online Safety - Citing websites

In Year 5 this afternoon, we looked at how we should cite websites in our work.

We learned about plagiarism, sources, and bibliographies.  We learned why it's important to cite where we have got our information from and when.

In computing this week, Y6 were challenged to create their very own Water Cycle animation. We looked at 'slideshow' transitions, motion paths and even presentation tools. We have attached one of our examples.
