A very happy yet reflective day today. We say thank you and goodbye to the 'irreplaceable' Mrs Hughes after her long and dedicated service to our school. Such heart-felt sentiments from the children all day long have really played on her emotional heart-strings.

Year 5 have been working hard to create amazing pop-up books based on the classic nursery rhyme "Jack and Jill."  Using hinges, they brought the story to life with impressive 3D effects that wowed everyone.

Shout-out to Year 5 for their incredible work in literacy this half term!  They've dived deep into the world of expanded noun phrases and relative clauses, all while exploring the fascinating realm of Norse mythology.

Well done to Year 5 for their fantastic assembly this morning! Year 5 got to tell the rest of the school, as well as their parents and carers, what they've been learning about this year. 

On Wednesday, Year 5 children had a visit from the NSPCC where we talked bout the importance of being safe and knowing who we can call and speak to if we need to share any concerns or worries we have.

Children in Year 4 have been working hard to understand the concept of dividing Hundreds, Tens and Ones in equal groups.

This morning, the children in Year 4 have participated in the BBC Live Lesson for Safer Internet Day 2025.  The children have learnt how to spot, avoid and report online scams.
