Year 5 Anti Bullying

This afternoon, Year 5 looked at the impact of bullying on those who have to deal with it. We discussed the various types of bullying and what to do if someone sees it.

Year 3 Science - Sedimentary Dear Watson

Year 3 have been experimenting with Sedimentary rocks.

Can a rock change its mass?

It can if we add water and leave it for five minutes.

Y6 Electricity

We had lots of fun creating circuits and testing out our predictions. Our topic this half-term is "Staying Safe" - so we also discussed the dangers of electricity - this will be embedded further next week on our 'Safety Central' Workshop.

Year 3 learn how to survive like their ancestors from the Stone Age - give or take that marshmallow tastes much better than red deer.

Year 3 become archeologists for the morning as they investigate Stone Age artefacts.

Year 5 learnt it's hip to be square!

This morning Year 5 delved into the world of multiplication and looked at square numbers.

We used counters, multilink, and our whiteboards to bring our learning to life.

Bahai

We had a lovely visit this afternoon from Helen who practises the Bahai faith.

If you don't know, Bahai is one of the newest major religions having started in the 19th century.

Y6 Computing Animation

In computing this week, Y6 were challenged to create their very own Water Cycle animation. We looked at 'slideshow' transitions, motion paths and even presentation tools. We have attached one of our examples.

Y6 Healthy Me
