The Nursery children read 'Love From the Crayons' and discussed love.

They then used a variety of different coloured media to create pictures of each colour, and a beautiful rainbow collage, which are now displayed in the resource area.

The Nursery children loved this story, and discussed why animals wouldn't be their perfect mummy!

In Nursery we love to read!

On World Book Day we shared our bedtime stories, getting cosy in our pyjamas. Year 5 children also came and read our books with us.

We even had a special treat of hot chocolate and marshmallows!

The Nursery class had a visit from the police. They dressed up as mini police, took their fingerprints, and explored the police car. We talked about how the police can help us and other people to stay safe, and what number we phone in an emergency.

The Nursery children were exploring Numicon, and counting the holes and making number towers using the coloured pieces.

The Nursery children have been exploring what happens during wintertime.

We read the story of 'Snow Bears' and discussed freezing and melting.

We explored fake snow talking about what it felt and looked like, and we made hot toast like the Snow Bears in the story, and melted butter…
