Year 1 made Quill Pens today and used them to write a diary entry about the Great fire of London, just like Samuel Pepys. Here they are in action.

Cheshire Phoenix
We had some special visitors today from Cheshire Phoenix Basketball. They have arranged a fun day out for all the family at Ellesmere Port Sports Village, to not only come and watch a game but meet and greet the team too. Look out for the letters home tonight.

World Book Day
What a great World book day. The children loved sharing their favourite book with the class and their friends. It was lovely to see the children really focus on the love of reading this year.

Stonehenge Replica - WOW Work!
Children in Year 3 have been so inspired about their learning this half term that one child made his very own replica Stonehenge!

Evolution & Adaptation
The Year 6 class had a 'BATTLE OF BEAKS' to determine which beak was best. This was inspired by Charles Darwin's 'variation' ideas through the famous finches!

Numbers Numbers
This week Year 1 are learning how to write their numbers to 20 in words. We had a race today to see which teams could order their numbers 1-20 then match the correct number with the correct word. Well done Year 1. You smashed it.

Wonderful Reader Year 3
This week's Year 3 wonderful reader... He enjoyed reading extracts from his books and explaining why this was his favourite book.

Evolution & Adaptation @ Chester Zoo
Year 6 visited Chester Zoo as part of their learning about Charles Darwin and Evolution.
