What an exciting day Year 4 had at Weaver Hall!
Our eager explorers set off on a journey back in time to discover life as an Anglo-Saxon. The children were captivated during a spellbinding storytelling session, where they learned about daring warriors, trading and raiding and enchanting folklore. The tales truly sparked their imaginations!
After that, it was time to unleash their creativity. The pupils got their hands messy as they crafted their very own clay statues of Anglo-Saxon God and Goddesses.
This trip not only helped our students grasp the rich history of the Anglo-Saxons but also allowed them to engage in fun, hands-on activities that brought the past to life.
A massive thank you to the staff at Weaver Hall for hosting us – we can’t wait for our next adventure!
