Year 5 had an amazing time taking part in the Road to RIAT event! We started by designing and creating our very own rockets, testing them out to see how far they could fly. It was so much fun seeing everyone’s creative ideas take off (literally!).

Next, they worked in pairs to design a sustainable aircraft. The class then thought about how to make our planes eco-friendly while still being super cool and efficient. Teamwork was the key to coming up with the best ideas!

They loved being engineers for the day and learned so much about rockets, aircraft, and making smart choices for our planet. Who knows—maybe some of them will be designing real planes one day!
